February 8th, 2010Buy Quality, Live Better
January 27th, 2010By Carey Van Wagoner

If you don’t know me, I’m the buyer around here. I’m not going to lie…I love to shop. I love finding things that are beautiful, that make my heart beat fast…like a handbag with amazing color, or that perfect pair of pants. You know the ones, that fit like a glove and look absolutely perfect…with everything. I also love to shop for my kids and for you. I love to shop for you. It is what I do. I am constantly looking for things that I love, but that you will love too. And here’s the thing…things are a-changin. Yesterday it might have been about buying as much as you could, at the littlest price. Today, I feel that quality is better then quantity. If you buy quality, you will spend less money. period. The goods will last longer, look better, wash better, wear better, be more comfortable, and make your life better. I know that is a lot to claim, but it is the truth.
Quality is the new cool. (especially at a good price.)
Don’t get me wrong…I love Target, Walmart, Forever 21, H and M, …they all have their place.
But, ….my Ugg boots that I paid $200 for in 2008 are well into season #2 here in the good ol’ state of Utah, and they look Brand new. I mean perfect. The leather, the rubber soles, the interior…all perfect. I will be wearing these things for 10 years. (well maybe not that long.)
Buy quality, and live better.
P.S. Stay tuned for another post on how to buy quality for kids and make your bucks stretch.

How to Get Your Designs Recognized by Retail Buyers
January 9th, 2010By Brooke Ashworth
Hey there all of you crafty mommies, are you ready to start selling all of your fabulous, unique products that you are designing at home?! Here are some tried and true steps for you to consider that will elevate your designs in the eyes of the buyer from a stay-at-home mom crafter to a real business, that is serious about sales.
Step one: Have a legitimate business name and obtain an at home occupation business license.
Click Here for a link to Ogden City’s website.
Step two: Create a line sheet. Wholesale and retail prices with a clear line between the two. A line sheet also includes a description and picture of the product along with your contact information.

Step three: Be patient. Don’t give up. It’s not always about your product or design, timing is everything.
Are you interested in selling to Little Cherry Blossoms? If so, email us at info@Littlecherryblossoms.com
Due to a high volume of inquiries, we cannot answer all inquiries but we promise to consider all inquiries. We are looking for new, unique, products to sell in our store. Here is a list of things we require to if you would like to be considered for our store.
1. Line sheets with clear wholesale prices.
2. We key stone all products, so if you are already selling at less than wholesale to the end consumer, we cannot order from you.
3. First orders require net-60 terms, and 100% returnable.
4. After our first order, if we see a high sell through, then we will change to a net-30, and/or payment is up front.
5. It is our goal to bring in products that we feel are highly sell-able.
During the recent recession, many mommies have had to get creative and come up with designs of their own. Many of these designs are adorable, and will sell great with these tips! Please feel free to contact us with ANY information! We would love to chat with you.
